Unsurpassed Masters is a Beatles bootleg series presented by the publisher Yellow Dog. It presents session outtakes that were previously unavailable, or available in poor quality.
Yellow Dog issued seven volumes altogether. The first five were specific to certain album sessions, after which they compiled material from all phases of the Beatles' career.
The Unsurpassed Masters CD's are among the most popular Beatles bootlegs ever-produced, with the all seven in the series featuring in the top 10 bootlegs owned by members of the Bootleg Zone.
Many labels have pirated these discs and sold them under their own label.
